  1. The idea sounds easy. I will try the copy and paste, and...task. Some of us are not adept at these things. We grew up when we had ink wells on a desk, real ink, real desks.

Our schools, unfortunately feel like museums. We still have children sitting in rows all the time, and demand the same skills that our teachers demanded.

  2. Lola,
I'm having troubles posting a comment. Also, there is a post on vices that shows on my rolling list of blogs, which I can choose, but it does not exist after I open it. Blogger has updated its products, especially the follower widget. A lot of people lost followers. Your post might have been swallowed up that way. Carry on. I'll return to copy and post, if I can.

  3. I thought I left a comment already. Your post seems to swallow stuff; or, I might have been sleep walking. Since this is my prime waking time, I will try to do the exercise a few choices at a time.

1-10 I've seen them all. Singing in the Rain is probably closest to my heart out here in Rainland.

    Tomorrow, I'll attempt 11-30 Ciao.

  4. I have a comment moderation thing that asks me to approve of comments before publishing them. I haven't been near my laptop until now, I spent the day dedicating myself to my child, the gorgeous budding spring weather, outdoor life in general. I may have to disable the moderation thing. In any case I ask you to have faith, whatever you comment I always get sooner or later. Did you see, il numero dei miei lettori crsce! ciao

  5. Yes, and a couple came over my way telling me they came from your blog. I don't know if you read my post about leaving a comment now and then. It is my way to determine how big the classroom is, how many are true followers, versus those who just leave breadcrumbs.

I rather keep a few good readers around that hundreds feeling all unknown to each other. I guess I do like big parties.

p.s. did you land the job you were looking for? Let me know if I can be of any help out here in the States. The right administration here will support innovative teachers for a while. Have faith.

  6. Hm. I've watched 61 of these movies.

As for adding three, wow, I can't add any at this time. But Singin' in the Rain is one of my all-time favorites that's for sure.

    'Rushmore' was a great film.

Comedies always get short changed with such lists except for 'Some like it hot,' 'Annie Hall' and 'Duck soup' for example.

So let me add a couple I found hilarious: Trading Places, Best in Show and This is Spinal Tap.

By the way, I know I signed in with my blogspot id, but I'm the same chap who runs e-Talian!

    Ciao
