A dear friend and superb blogger is not feeling well. After her return from Africa, she has shown symptoms of an illness that specialists are still trying to figure out. A fast-moving network of mutual blogland friends from all over the globe is opeartive into making her healing process a quicker one, providing moral support, medical suggestions based on personal experience, down to offering words of assistance and hope for her prompt recovery.

She is so delicate and generous that she has felt the need to post a note on her blog to inform her readers that her silence was due to her illness, and not to be mistaken for being, I quote her, "an uncivilized blog dumdum." How could anyone who knows her, ever think such a silly thing?
I have spoken to her yesterday, and her voice is weak yet still sweet and angelic, as always. Through a constant exchange of emails and text messages, and her sweet post, she has informed us that she is feeling a bit better today, helped by antibiotics and probiotics. She is in the caring hands of a very good doctor, her recovering sister - who had initially shown similar symptoms - and her loving husband.

Our prayers are with you, beautiful Lori. Rest, replete and hang in there. The bug will be defeated, if not through medicine, by a potent wave of unfailing LOVE.
Ngiyakuthanda, sala kahle (I love you, stay well)
